On October 14, 2011 The Bloody Muffs played a show at The
Local 269 Bar, infamously known as "Toothapocalypse". The crowd
was into the set and a crazy mosh pit broke out spilling onto the stage.
One of our fans went down and the microphone hurled at Jessica as she
stepped up to sing blinded by spotlights and unable to see the impending
doom. Her front tooth was shattered into pieces. After some spitting out
of teeth, a triple shot of whiskey and making sure she was alright by
fans and friends, the show went on.
Fans and friends of The Bloody Muffs genorusly donated almost enough money
to cover the emergency repair. Jessica is still left with the cumbersone
cost of the permanent repair.
On October 29th 2011 The Bloody Muffs will host a benefit with proceeds
going to "Jessica's Smile". Featuring: The Anti Psychotics,
The
Group Sex Poets, Out
Of Order, The
Dead Tricks, Tied
For Last and of course The Bloody Muffs. If you would like to attend
